System Administrator
As a System Administrator, you will respond to routine users hardware/software complications and/or questions. We are looking for an energetic problem solver who is committed to achieving the desired outcomes by any means necessary. This individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to add value to a rapidly growing company.
Main duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance in-person, over the phone or email
- Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
- Create accounts and configure hardware as part of employee on-boarding process
- Support and take ownership of managing our mobile phones/devices
- Manage and monitor internal assets throughout device lifecycle to ensure accurate inventory records
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on IT systems, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT operations in the United States and Hungary
- Other duties may be added or assigned as needed
Required skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office applications and Office 365
- Active Directory administration, Windows/Linux Server basics
- Networking basics: Client PC connectivity, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi
- Troubleshooting issues with major web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer
- Deep knowledge of major mobile devices: Google Android, Apple iOS
- Proficiency in English
- 2+ years of End User Support experience in a Windows environment
- Ability to work with users of various levels of computer knowledge
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical organization skills with an established record of providing outstanding service
- Proactive, problem solving attitude
